BERKSHIRE FUN RUN - Oct 16-18
Rev. Norm David and his spouse, Donna, propose to lead a weekend drive amid fall splendor into the Berkshires to stay two nights at a lodge to be selected while visiting sites in Sheffield and Stockbridge, MA. To be seen are a UFO Sighting memorial at a covered bridge in Sheffield, and, in Stockbridge, the Woody and Arlo Guthrie Museum, the site of Alice’s Restaurant made famous by Arlo’s hit folk-song in 1967, artist Norman Rockwell’s Museum, and the Lion’s Den nightclub with live jazz beneath the historic Red Lion Inn.
Starting point on Friday, Oct 16 @. 10AM will be the parking lot at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA, with lunch at the New Boston Inn at Sandisfield, MA on route 57 on the way to Sheffield. End point is Sunday after breakfast at a lodge not far from the Lee, MA entrance to the Mass Turnpike for a speedy drive home or to Mustangs-on-the-Mountain at the Motorsports Park in Palmer, MA to be held Sunday Oct 18, about an hour’s drive away.
