Mask wearing is required
We will all meet at Salem Cross Inn, 260 W Main St, West Brookfield, MA, and depart by 9:00 am, and drive though Western Mass (see attached map) ending at Northside Creamery Westfield, MA 01085
The total ride is approximately 150 miles for scenic views and a fun time driving with stops along the way, including a lunch stop at the Mohawk Trail State Forest, so pack a picnic basket and some folding chairs for lunch, and then ending in Northside Creamery in Westfield near RT 90
Restrooms are limited throughout the route, please plan accordingly, see below event for more details on restroom and gas station locations
First available stop is a Dunkin Donuts just before the Connecticut River, 5 minutes past that is the Mobil service area- both have restrooms (the Mobil station was busy and had a line, not so the Dunkin Donuts)
From there it's a half hour to the picnic area. (Mobil station would be a bit before the 91 interchange).
The next Cumberland Farms is on the corner where we come out onto Rt 8 in North Adams, 30 minutes after picnic stop. There are a few gas stations around Pittsfield, and a Cumberland Farms on Rt 8 in Dalton (not much parking), and the last chance before Westfield is an Irving station with limited parking and only one stall. The next chance for restrooms is in Westfield (another 30 minutes) where there is a McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts, and a full-service Shell station right on the route. Which will be within 10 minutes of the Northside Creamery, which is about 1 mile north of the Mass Pike interchange (with access to everywhere!)
